The Chairman of Bwari Area Council, Peter Yohanna Ushafa, has said the council had come up with innovative ideas to create wealth through public-private partnership.
He made this known while addressing a cross section of professional waste managers at the opening of tender in the council.
Ushafa added that the exercise would prevent the outbreak of diseases, raise the revenue base of the council, create job opportunities and ensure a tidy environment.
Seventeen bidders made their submissions for the eight lots, namely: Bwari and environs, Kubwa I, II, III, IV and V. Others are Mpape and Dutse-Alhaji and its environs.
Earlier, the divisional head of logistics, Mr. Ajoze Sumaila, said the successful bidders would be invited for the second round of the exercise.
