A former Nigeria national basketball team player, Samuel Oguche has said that over 2,000 pieces of basketball equipment will be distributed to youth teams by Bullet Energy Drink, as part of the company’s bid to develop basketball at the grassroots.
Oguche, who disclosed this in a chat yesterday, said the distribution exercise would be in five stages when the energy drink firm would lunch five series of its camp in different parts of the country next year.
Oguche, who said the exercise will be a routine one, noted that, basketball development should also include provision of basic facilities that would expose the kids to the rudiment of the game.
He revealed further that the Bullet Energy Drink would continue its partnership with Mark D’ball Tournament in 2016.
