Rev. Abraham Okunade, the Chaplain, Gray International Cathedral in Osun, has urged Christians to use the festive period to pray for peace and the prosperity of the country.

Okunade said in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Osogbo on Monday that the birth of Jesus Christ should be used by Christians to reflect on how to live in peace and harmony wit one another as enshrined in the Bible.

He said developments in the country demanded fervent prayers of the righteous for God’s intervention.

“The only solution to the current trends in the country is Prayers.

“We must continue to pray for Nigeria and that demands the prayers of the righteous,” Okunade said.

He called on Christians all over the world to abide by the teachings of Jesus Christ as contained in the Bible.

Okunade also urged all religious groups in the country not to relent in their prayers for peace and tranquility in the country. (NAN)
