Caretaker Chairman of Agatu Local Government Area of Benue State, Ngbede Joseph, has raised the alarm on possible attack on the area.
The people of Agatu have suffered several attacks by gunmen, who invaded their communities and killed many people as well as destroyed houses and property.
Joseph told Daily Trust in Makurdi, where he attended a workshop, that despite the peace in his locality since the assumption of Governor Samuel Ortom in May this year, there were still threats of attack from neighbouring Nasarawa State.
