Speaking to Trustsports yesterday on phone, the coach said beating Wolves in their backyard will be a herculean task but was quick to note that sometimes, it is possible to pass through hell into paradise.

He said it will be an uphill task considering the impressive run of the Warri boys but if his players would step up their game, they might return to Ibadan with a positive result.

Amoo explained that his side played fantastic football last weekend against Dolphins but failed to pick the maximum points making it important for victory to be recorded in today’s away encounter.

The coach expressed happiness that the match against Wolves will be played on a very fine turf and it would be an opportunity for players from both sides to express themselves without any hindrance.

He reiterated that Wolves boast of some of the best strikers in the league and so his defenders must remain vigilant throughout the duration of the match.

Amoo said: “We performed well in our match against Dolphins but in the end we could not bag the maximum points. We have since put behind us the disappointment of that home draw. We are looking forward to this weekend’s fixture against Warri Wolves.

“It is going to be a difficult one because they will not like to slip from their present position. If we are to get anything out of that match, we have to step up our performance. I have told my players to raise their game.

“For us it is like going through hell. However, sometimes, you go through hell but find yourself in paradise. We are expecting a good game because the match is going to be played on a good turf. It will be an opportunity for players from both sides to express themselves”.
