Dankure was trailed to where he was building a business plaza last Wednesday night by four gunmen and after scaring people with sporadic gun shots in the air, they whisked him away.
His whereabouts is still unknown as there has been no contact with his abductors as at the time of filing this report.
The police say efforts are being enhanced to unravel the whereabouts of Alhaji Dankure.
Police Public Relations Officer ,Sokoto state command DSP Almustapha Sani said the search has continued, as the Police have intensified efforts towards the search.
One of his siblings, Abubakar Atu who spoke to Weekly Trust dismissed the rumour making the round that the kidnappers have called demanding for ransom.
According to him, there was no such contact yet and they have engaged in fervent prayers for Allah to rescue their brother from the hands of his captors.
Although, he said they have faith in the ability of the police to fish out the perpetrators, but feared that their involvement may risk his life.
