City News learnt that the deceased was last seen around a film house on Saturday night where he normally went to watch movies.
The source said the deceased, who had earlier claimed to be living behind a mosque in the area, was found lifeless with his head inside a hole and part of his body covered with sand.
City News further learnt that no injury was found on him, while his corpse had been deposited in the Kubwa General Hospital’s morgue.
Also, a middle-aged man lost his life, while another sustained serious head injury in a ghastly motor accident that occurred at Dei-dei Junction, along the Kubwa-Zuba Expressway.
A witness said the accident which occurred around 11.30pm, involved a commercial bus and a Hilux van.
He said the commercial bus was negotiating a U-turn at the junction, when the van which was heading towards Zuba suddenly hit him from behind.
The witness said one of the three passengers sitting at the back died few minutes later, while the others sustained injuries and were taken to the Kubwa General Hospital.
When City News visited the hospital yesterday, the Head, Accident and Emergency unit, Paul Olise, said both corpses have been deposited at the hospital’s mortuary, while those that sustained injuries in the motor accident are responding to treatment.
