A suspected kidnapper has been killed in Awonyemi community in Okpella in Etsako East LGA of Edo State.
It was gathered that the killing happened when the victim and his accomplices stormed their victim’s house to kidnap him.
A source explained that the deceased victim and his gang members were dragging their victim to their hideout after gaining access to his house when vigilantes shot at them, killed one, while the others abandoned their shot colleague and victim and escaped.
He further said, “When they searched his pockets, the picture of the victim they wanted to kidnap was found. The issue was reported at the Okpella Police Division.

When contacted, the Edo State Commissioner of Police (CP), Funsho Adegboye, said he was in a meeting with officers and would get back to the reporter.
