Suspected cultists in Osogbo, Osun State capital on Thursday killed a man by smashing his head with a big stone at Oke-Ijetu street.
Some residents of Oke-Ijetu identified the deceased as Shogo. They explained that the cultists chased him out from a barber shop and killed him.

The incident caused panic in the area as cultists brandished dangerous weapons. The residents scampered into safety, lamenting that there were no security agents in the area.
The Police Public Relations Officer for Osun State Police Command, Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the incident.
The PPRO said the situation has been brought under control and assured the residents of the safety.
