Supreme Court FC Striker Paul Samson has said his teammates will fight hard to finish the first round of the 2016 Nigeria National League (NNL) season with a convincing victory come Friday when they face Wikki Feeders of Bauchi in one of week seven matches in Abuja.

While appealing for continued support from all Stakeholders, Samson, nicknamed Drogba, called on fans to come out en mass to cheer them to victory at the Area 3 playground.

The forward however, apologized to fans for the team’s unimpressive performance so far this season, assuring of their readiness to right the wrongs in due time.

“All hope is not lost, the management has been supportive despite the fact that we are facing tough times," he said. "We believe in ourselves and nothing will demoralize us.”

Apex Boys Chief Coach Taiwo Hakeem revealed that the coaching crew which is now being spearheaded by Coach Bala Nkiyu has been working hard to put the players in the right frame of mind.
 


Hakeem expressed optimism that the team will fare much better when the second stanza of the league kicks off.
