Super Story gets Glo sponsorship

Popular television drama series Super Story has received the support of national telecommunications operator Globacom.

According to a statement released by Globacom over the weekend, the company became the headline sponsor of the series on African Independent Television (AIT) from September, 2020.

The soap opera is reputed for promoting good family values and condemning the ills of society in all forms since it hit the screens 2001. It is one of the most popular TV series in the country.

“We are delighted to support Super Story to continue to excite some of our esteemed subscribers who watch the drama series. Super Story is chock-full with viable lessons on slices of life bordering on vices, venal practices, follies and foible. It is unique with its style of producing various interesting true-to-life stories that are believable and have distinct beginnings and endings”, Globacom said in the statement.

The network added that it was proud to support the programme which it said provides good family entertainment with quality productions and captivating stories.

Globacom’s sponsorship of Super Story started last Thursday with Episode One of a new series, “Revenge”. It goes on air every Thursday on AIT from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m.

“Revenge” features prominent acts such as Kunle Coker, Shan George, Toyin Alausa, Kehinde Bankole and Funsho Adeolu.

Globacom which has consistently supported Nigerian arts and culture had in 2016 produced and sponsored “Professor Johnbull”, a television drama series broadcast on the networks of the NTA.
