A former International and Coordinator of the Super Eagles, Patrick Pascal, has been re-elected as the Chairman of Bauchi State Football Association for another four years.

However, before his re-election, the former Super Eagles star who was elected for his first tenure in 2019 had a running battle with his former Board leading to the NFF suspending the elections which had earlier been slated for 27 May 2023.

After the report of a fact-finding committee, it is said the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) in a clearance letter dated May 26 gave the go-ahead for the electoral process to be concluded and elections held on May 29 instead of the earlier proposed May 27.

In the election said to be conducted under a peaceful atmosphere, the former player who made a name playing for 3SC of Ibadan was returned unopposed.
