The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar III; the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume; and daughter of President Bola Tinubu, Iyaloja Folasade Tinubu-Ojo; have condoled with the Ambassador at Large to the African Region, International Human Rights Commission (IHRC), Dr Malami Shehu Ma’aji, over the death of his wife, Hajiya Khadijah who died after giving birth to a set of twins and was buried according to Islamic rites in Kaduna at the weekend.
Among other dignitaries who paid condolence visit and sent messages are the Minister of Water Resources, Bello Gwaranyo; Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Musa; Director General (DG) of DSS; Chairman of NDLEA, Brig Gen Buba Marwa (Rtd); Permanent Secretary, Police Affairs, Dr Nasiru Sani Gwarzo; a former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu; and a former Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Awwal Zubairu (Rtd).
Others are Major Hamza Al-Mustapha (Rtd); Senator Abu Ibrahim; Buba Galadima; Professor Yahaya Kuta; Etsu Nupe, Yahaya Abubakar; Emir of Kagara, Malam Garba Gunna; Emir of Borgu, Muhammad Sani Haliru Dantoro, among others.
