The Vigilante Group of Nigeria, Suleja Command, has held two days training to empower their members on new operations techniques.
The event, which took place over the weekend, had resource persons from various security agencies that trained the group on intelligence gathering, surveillance, arrest and detention.

Deputy Commandant of the group, Niger State Command, Sulaiman Badaru, said the vigilantes were trained on best ways to operate within constitutional provision to avoid infringing the law in the course of their operations.
One of the commandants in the area, Muhammad Habib Sulaiman said the participants came from 10 districts and units that made up the council.
He expressed confidence that the training will fortify their members with new skills for better operation.
