Federal Capital Territory chapter of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has called on students to turn away from corrupt practices. chairman of the association, Mubaraq Yahaya, made the remarks during the inauguration of the newly elected executives of the union in Abuja.  He said it was time students as well as lecturers in the FCT shun every form of corruption in the campuses.
He said his administration will fight and expose any form of corruption in the campuses. Yahaya said the new executives will partner with the FCT ministry and all other relevant government agencies in ensuring that the welfare and safety of students was achieved.
According to him, protest and violence were no longer fashionable instruments used in passing a message across to any authorities hence the “best way to solve problems is the use of dialogue.”
