Strike: Varsity applies ‘No Work No Pay’

Following the ongoing strike embarked upon by the Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero, branch of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), the Governing Council has directed the institution authorities to apply “No Work, No Pay” policy on any of its staff that refuses to carry out their assigned duties.

The school authorities in a statement signed by the Registrar and Secretary to the Council, Musa Labbo Jega said it was shocked by the strike after the state government had adequately addressed all the 15 demands presented to it by the union.
