She said that the country was facing  serious challenges that require God intervention.

"Our country is bedevelled by myriad of challenges such as herders-farmers conflict, kidnapping and other social and economic challenges.

"We therefore ask the Almighty Allah to bring peace in our country and to expose those behind all these wanton killings and their sponsors and to guide our leaders aright. We also prayed for a prosperous country," she said

Hajiya Sakaba added that they would remain steadfast in their prayer for the country and leaders, expressing optimism that God would soon provide  solutions to  problems facing the nation.

She also harped on peaceful coexistence among Nigerians.

Hajiya Amina Sakaba said the prayer session was part of their monthly preaching  programmes aimed at sentizing women on the need to follow the  true teachings of Islam.

The session was also characterised by the recitation of the complete Qur’an and the translation of some of its verses by Sheikh (Dr) Abubakar Maihankali.
