The recent medical tourism by President Muhammadu Buhari has generated uproar across the country with many criticizing him for his failure to improve the health sector of the country.
The president might be wrong for leaving the country at this time of health crisis in the country but I don’t think insulting him will solve the problems plaguing our dear country.
I was so perplexed when I saw Nigerians throwing insults to President Buhari for visiting London for medical check-up. Though we have the right to criticize our leaders if they go wrong, insulting them is uncalled for and outrageous.
What most of us fail to understand is freedom of expression doesn’t mean we should insult our leaders, we can advise, criticize, but politely.
I want to implore all patriotic Nigerians to pray fervently for God to bring succour to our country. Our leaders too should fear God in whatever they do.
