The Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) has called on investors in the nation’s power sector to stop inflicting pains on Nigerians through  hike in electricity tariff and epileptic services.
It also kicked against the moves by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) to increase electricity tariff,  describing  the move as  anti-people and illogical.
President of the congress, Comrade Bobboi Kaigama, in a statement at the weekend,   described as lame the argument in some quarters that an act of the National Assembly actually empowered the commission to unilaterally increase tariff and that the act could not be tampered with even by the federal parliament.
