The Chairman of the PDP Board of Trustees (BoT), Senator Walid Jibrin, has warned various groups issuing quit notices to stop hate speeches.
In a statement yesterday, Jibrin said all Nigerians should work together to sustain peace and unity in the country.
“I want to advise all against hate speeches. To continue the call for the Igbo to leave the North is enough joke which must stop immediately.
“Another call from militants that northerners and Yoruba should leave must stop. The recent call by Benue youths that the Fulani herdsmen living in Benue must leave should stop because recently the Fulani Elders Concerned Group met and sent a delegation under my chairmanship to visit all parts to reconcile between Fulani herdsmen and farmers and various communities. We started with Taraba,” he said.
