Kaduna State Urban Planning and Development Authority (KASUPDA) has expressed displeasure with builders undertaking developaments in some parts of the state without obtaining approvals from the authority.
KASUPDA said some individuals have resorted to building shops, placing containers, kiosks, and other signages without obtaining building permission, adding that the development will not be condoned.
Nuhu Garba Dan’ayamaka, Assistant Director of the Public Affairs Unit of the authority disclosed this in a statement in Kaduna on Thursday, adding that, “Failure to adhere to the rules and regulations, KASUPDA will not hesitate to take appropriate action as stipulated by the law accordingly.

“KASUPDA has noted with concern the decision embarked upon by some individuals for commencing developments and placing shops, containers, kiosks, and other signages without obtaining building permission or obtaining temporary approvals.”
