As part of its One Education initiative, Sterling Bank has announced its partnership with AUDAX Code School, an e-learning, training and assessment solutions company for the 2016 Coding programme.
The programme is designed to improve digital literacy through coding in a fun and collaborative environment for primary and secondary school students in Nigeria.
The Bank’s Group Head, Strategy & Communications, Mr. Shina Atilola who disclosed this to newsmen in Lagos noted that the objectives of the exercise is to bridge the digital skills gap in Nigeria; empower children and teachers in both rural and urban areas.
It will also foster creativity and grow the careers of underprivileged youth through Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Education.
AUDAX Code School in a statement said the company in its two-year lifespan, has achieved modest milestones that underscore its potential with the right partnerships.
