STDD tasks traders on waste evacuation

The Coordinator of Satellite Towns Development Department (STDD), Hon. Ishaku Tanko Yamawo, has urged traders to evacuate waste on roads around the markets.

Yamawo, who went round markets in some of the area councils in the FCT, said it was necessary to keep the market environment clean.

While at Kurudu market with the AMAC Chairman, Abdullahi Candido, he said the market had to be moved from along the road to the main site that had been approved by the FCTA.

The coordinator said he would still meet with the market’s leaders this week and make arrangements for the evacuation of waste by the roadside as directed by the Minister of FCT, Muhammad Musa Bello
