State signs pact with NOMAP on energy projects

The Nasarawa State Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Nigeria Off-Grid Market Acceleration Programme (NOMAP) to ensure a speedy development and implementation of the state’s energy projects and to also boost its power and sustainability agenda.

Daily Trust on Sunday reports that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu recently signed the Electricity Act, 2023, into law.

The Managing Director (MD) of the state’s investment and development agency, Mr Ibrahim Abdullahi, explained that the partnership was a drastic move aimed at bringing Nasarawa’s vision of becoming one of the top three most competitive economies in Nigeria to actualisation.
