Stallion Group holds Keke rally in 16 states

Stallion Group, a foremost auto company representing Honda, Hyundai, Nissan, Volkswagen, among other brands, yesterday commenced the 5,000 Kilometre  “Keke” Rally with its ‘New Baba Bajaj 3-Wheeler.

Stallion Group had acquired Bajaj Franchise in Nigeria, bagging the exclusive distributorship for the Bajaj 3Ws, 4Ws Keke in Nigeria.

Speaking at the launch of the rally in Lagos, the Managing Director – Stallion Auto KeKe Ltd, Mr. Manish Rohtagi stated that the rally will take place in 28 cities in 16 states of the Federation.

The product range for the new Bajaj brands includes passenger 3-wheeler, Cargo 3-Wheeler and Qute Cab range.

Rohtagi said: “Although the 3-Wheeler is already in the local market, Manish informed that the 4-Wheeler known as Qute will be launched in four months’ time while the launch of Bajaj Maxima Cargo will follow next.

“With good safety features and with its engine size, quality and fuel efficiency as Unique Selling Points (USP), Manish noted that the 3-Wheeler gives an opportunity to upgrade from tricycles to quadricycle (Qute), which can comfortably offer about 70 km per hour with 5th gear.”

The show which will start from Lagos, berth at Ibadan, Oyo State capital tomorrow and then move to Abuja, Enugu, Kano, among others.

He pledged full utilisation of local content in terms of parts and manufacturing, emphasising that VON, Automobiles Nigeria, a Stallion Group company operating the largest vehicle assembly facility in West Africa will be put to use.

“We are working to empower Nigeria in the best possible way. We provide direct employment to 3000 and indirectly to around 1500 Nigerians are empowered by the business interests of Stallion Group”.
