Assistant Director Public Affairs of the Service, Marilyn Ogar, paraded the two suspects before journalists yesterday.
She said the suspects, Hamza Abubakar and Lawrence Okoro Dennis, planned to kidnap and detain Yar’adua’s daughter  in Zuba at the residence of an acquaintance to Dennis.
She said: “The Service acting on actionable intelligence nullified the plot before it was actualized, and both Hamza Abubakar and other collaborators shall be charged to court soon.”
She refused to reveal the identity of the woman, saying that it would compromise the person’s security.
Marilyn said the suspects were arrested on August 21, as they perfected plans to kidnap the late president’s  daughter  at a construction site in Kado estate, Abuja.
She further said: “Hamza cultivated friendship with one Abu Katsina, a guard at the lady’s construction site. This afforded him leverage to visit the area regularly.
“Having obtained sufficient information on the lady, he contacted Dennis, who was in Owerri at the time. Both Dennis and Hamza co-opted Daddy Mohammed, Isa Keteri, Masa’udu Kateri and IK (full name not known).”
The SSS also paraded 65-year-old Elias Adams arrested for posing as a retired Nigerian Army General Abubakar Sani. He is also accused to have posed as a special adviser to the president on defence.
Elias Adams is also said to have claimed to be a coordinating member of the National Committee on Flood Relief and Rehabilitation.
The SSS said investigations revealed that Elias told officials of the Pipelines and Products Marketing Company (PPMC) that he was directed by the Presidential Villa to facilitate the speedy supply of Dual Purpose Kerosene (DPK), through certain marketers located around flooded parts of the country.
“Investigation also showed that Elias impersonated a former Minister of Defence and secured five lorry loads of DPK from the Warri and Kaduna Depots respectively,” Marilyn said.
The SSS also paraded one Nicole Eze and five fake National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members who obtained fake certificates from Eze to enable them go for the NYSC.
He allegedly made about N530, 000 by selling  forged educational certificates, Indian visas, Nigerian international passports and mobilisation of unqualified persons for the NYSC.
