Sowore’s AAC unveils gov’ship candidate in Lagos

The African Action Congress (AAC) at the weekend unveiled its governorship and deputy candidates in Lagos State, Mr Akeem Olayiwola and Ben Eze respectively, for the 2023 general elections with a vow to take over the state.

AAC was formed by the convener of #RevolutionNow, Mr Omoyele Sowore.

The governorship candidate, who decried the state of affairs in Lagos, described the state as a “city languishing in confusion and a city with horrible standard of living.”

According to him, an average worker in the state appears as a slave, and therefore vowed to protect the interest of millions of informal workers who he noted had been isolated in the affairs of the state.

He said, “This Lagos is not the Lagos we all dreamt of. This is definitely not the Lagos we all want; whether you are an indigene or non-indigene. So, which Lagos do we really want? Our party, the African Action Congress (AAC), believes in true pragmatic ways of doing things.
