Arrangements for a three-day summit on de-escalation of conflict and end to destruction of lives and property in Southern Kaduna have been concluded.
A statement signed by the chairman, Local Organizing Committee, James Movel Wuye, said the three-day summit which is being sponsored by the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC) and Friends of Kaduna State, would feature presentations on strategies for de-escalation of conflict and ending the destruction of lives and property, promoting interfaith community dialogue and bridging the gap in the Southern Kaduna conflict narrative, with all presentations further highlighting the focus of the NCPC which includes promoting reconciliation, peace and national unity.

It would be recalled that the spate of attacks in the area have led not only to the deaths of many, but also the loss of property and businesses.
The Kaduna State government is expected to be well represented at the summit.
The event is slated for September 8 to 10, 2020 in Kafanchan, Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
