Southern Kaduna: Kaninkon, Zikpak, Jama’a leaders meet in Kafanchan

Worried over security challenges in the southern part of Kaduna State, the Emir of Jama’a, Alhaji Muhammad Isa Muhammad (CON) has met with the Chiefs of Kaninkon (Tum Nkyob), and the Waziri of Zikpak Chiefdom to deliberate on the prevailing insecurity in Jema’a and the neighbouring local government areas of Kaura and Zangon Kataf.

The emir, while delivering a short remark at the commencement of the meeting, said although the Jama’a emirate enjoys relative peace, the escalation of the crises in neighbouring local government areas which spill into the emirate remains a source of concern and compels the convening of the meeting with the rulers to share experiences, map out peace strategies, and pray for lasting peace.
