Nigeria is blessed with talented young people working at a variety of levels. Omolara Sorinola is a great entrepreneur who stands out.  Omolara, CEO and founder of Landlady Enterprises Limited, was selected as one of the 40 Under
40 CEOs who had performed exceptionally well in Nigeria’s real estate and property market despite all
odds at a young age.

Omolara was born into the family of late Pa and Alajah Awoniyi in Ikire (Osun State). Her parents were both from Muslim background before they later converted. Her mother was from a wealthy home and was a great business woman. Her mother had estates and has helped generously in empowering her siblings. One can say that Omolara  inherited her generosity from her mum.

Her father on the other hand, was born into the family of Oladele who so much believed in acquiring western education despite all odds. This unique passion for education has helped Madam Omolara in living a healthy life and a more successful career. As a young child, Omolara started her educational pursuit early enough in life, and she was an excellent child who in spite of all odds came second ahead of many of her senior students in Federal Common Entrance Examination. And at the end of her secondary education, from Federal Government Girls College, Ipetumodu (Osun State), she proceeded immediately to Ladoke Akintola University of Technology where she graduated with second class degree, Upper Division.

As if that was enough, she continued with her quest for education into Edinburgh Business School in Scotland and the United Kingdom for her Masters degree. All thanks to God and her hard work.

Mrs Sorinola is married to the love of her life, Prince Abimbola Sorinola. He is the 7th son of Late Onipara of Ipararemo land in Ijebu Remo (Ogun State) and the marriage is blessed with three wonderful children.

When asked by our reporters, she said “my husband is a gentle man and a great father of 3. He can be described as an introvert who loves golfing at leisure time”.

Omolara is a business woman. Her quest in business has been up since her school days. Her first business with the French name: MONDIALE DELAMONDE, which means world of fashion began in her final year in the university with the sum of fifteen thousand naira. That same year the capital grew up to about five hundred thousand naira.

“My journey into the field of real estate however, was ordered by God because I never studied
anything related to estate management in the university but came across someone who
introduced me into the venture and motivated me in becoming a real estate marketing expert.

“To the glory of God, today I, Sorinola Omolara is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the
founder of Landlady Enterprises Limited, a real estate marketing firm in Lagos, Nigeria. It’s been a great journey for me in this line of business as I own and developed many estates in Ajah, Epe and its environs”.

Sorinola Omolara has lived an exemplary life for many in this field of business and has encouraged, motivated and build others up in life.
