SON warns against flouting standards

The Standard Organisation Nigeria (SON) has certified a facility management company, Max-MIGOLD providing service, training, and recruitment technology with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standard.

The Director, Management Certification, SON, Engr Felix Nyado, who presented the certificate to the firm’s boss Paul Erugbami in Lagos, said the certification was a mark of quality on the services offered by the firm.

Nyado, who represented the Director General, Mallam Farouk A. Salim, said: “The ISO 9001:2015 quality management system now provides you with a robust, globally recognised, and acceptable solution to address the challenges associated with managing quality and delivering an excellent customer experience.

“This system, having been certified, has been placed on annual surveillance audits to ensure continuing suitability and effectiveness of the implementation of the quality management system.”

The Managing Director, Max-MIGOLD, Mr Paul Erugbami, assured that the firm would implement the standardisation required.

“Let me tell you, people in our industry say don’t do SON, they will just whitewash everything and give a certificate, so thank you for your effort, the process is rigorous but fulfilling. Whatever it takes this certification, we will do and whatever it takes to sustain it we will do,” he said.
