Soldiers have shot dead two bandits while they were attempting to rustle cows in Dogon-Daji village in Kagarko LGA of Kaduna State.
It was gathered that after the killing, a mob set the corpses ablaze.
A community leader, who spoke with our reporter through telephone on Wednesday, said, “Troops who were on patrol along Janjala and Gidan Makeri communities saved a situation, if not, the bandits would have succeeded in rustling the cows.”
The community leader also disclosed that two suspected bandits’ informants were arrested in the SCC Village market in neighbouring Kachia LGA.

The spokesman of the Kaduna State Police Command, ASP Hassan Mansur, was yet to comment on the incidents.
