Soldiers of the 35 Artillery Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Alamala, Ogun State, have intercepted a Mazda car, with registration number: NRK 622 SB, carrying 441 pawpaw-size wraps of Indian hemp weighing 223kg in Mologbede village in Odeda LGA.
The Brigade Commander, Brigadier General Mohammed Tajudeen Aminu, represented by the Officer Commanding 35 Provost Company, Major Gadzama Abdullahi, while handing over the drugs to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Abeokuta, assured that the brigade would sustain efforts in working with other security agencies to eradicate crime and other social vices in the state.
Responding, the Commandant of NDLEA in Ogun State, Jane Ibiba Odili, expressed delight over the positive collaboration and cooperation demonstrated by the military and other security agencies in the state.

She acknowledged the unwavering support shown by General Aminu towards NDLEA operations, noting that the military’s support was crucial in enabling NDLEA dismantle drug syndicates and attain comprehensive results in its ongoing fight against drugs.
