Daily Trust gathered  that the gunmen recovered corpses of their members who were gunned down by security forces the same Wednesday after they had earlier attacked two polling units and murdered some people, including security operatives.

The corpses were reportedly being conveyed in a Tipper Truck where about seven AK-47 rifles were recovered.

The items have been handed over to Enugu State Police Command for further action,” Nwachukwu said.

He further added During the clearance operations, troops overpowered and routed the dissidents, who staged an ambush.
