Sokoto: Tribunal grants leave for substituted service on APC reps – elect

The  Election Petition Tribunal  in Sokoto state has granted Candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the Bodinga/Dange Shuni/Tureta Federal Constituency election, Balarabe Shehu Kakale an order of substituted service on the APC Candidate Shehu Aliyu.

 

 

Kakale had in a Motion-exparte by his counsel Barrister JC Shaka,sought leave for substituted service on Shehu Aliyu who is the 1strespondent in the case.

 

 

When the case came up Wednesday, Chairman of the Tribunal Justice Yusuf Ubale Muhammad granted the Motion Exparte with an order of court to serve by   substituted mean, by pasting same on the last known home of the 1st respondent within the jurisdiction of the tribunal, at no 5 Kalgo road Sokoto

 

He added that the petition and all the other processes to be served in that address.

 

 

The tribunal also granted an order that the substituted service shall be effected in good time considering the brief nature of election petitions and that same deemed as proper service.
