The lawmakers representing Tambuwal-Kebbe, Shagari-Yabo and Tangaza-Gudu federal constituencies, all PDP candidates, have lost their seats to candidates of All Progressives Congress (APC).

The PDP candidates are Abdussamad Dasuki, Aminu Shehu Shagari and Isah Salihu Kalanjeni respectively.

Dasuki lost the seat to the immediate past Commissioner of Budget and Economic Planning, Bala Kokani .

Kokani scored 48,503 to defeat Dasuki who scored 42,367 votes.

Similarly, Shagari who is the son of late President Shehu Shagari lost the seat to Abubakar Umar Yabo who secured 33,193 votes against the 24,932 votes scored by the former.

Kalanjeni, a three-term member and close political ally of Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal was defeated by Yusuf Isa Kurdula.

However, the election of Bodinga-Dange/Shuni-Tureta federal constituency was declared inconclusive following the cancelation of results from nine polling units with total votes of 4,000.

However, the result so far released for Bodinga-Dange/Shuni-Tureta federal constituency show that the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Aliyu Shehu was leading with 3,616 votes as he scored 50,964 votes against 47,348 votes secured by the candidate of PDP, Dr. Balarabe Kakale.

However, Dasuki who is the Chairman, House Committee on Navy has rejected the result, alleging irregularities.

He said that their party would soon make its stand public.
