Hon. Umar Yusuf Yabo representing Yabo-Shagari Federal constituency has distributed motorcycles, sewing, grinding and pumping machines to members of his constituency.
Among the beneficiaries were village heads, women and youths.
Speaking during the distribution ceremony on Saturday, Yusuf-Yabo said the beneficiaries cut across all political divides.
“Despite the fact that, I am elected under the banner of PDP but I was not voted by members of PDP alone, even members of the APC and other political parties supported me.

“That is why I don’t use politics in supporting my people because I am representing the entire people of Yabo-Shagari Federal constituency,” he said
According to the lawmaker, 800 people were empowered, including 400 women who were provided with sewing and grinding machines.
Some of the beneficiaries thanked the lawmaker for the gesture.
