The Sokoto State government has awarded contract for the reconstruction of 14 township roads.
This was disclosed by the Commissioner for Land and Housing, Sirajo Marafa Gatawa.
Gatawa however, did not reveal how much they would spend on the reconstruction.

He listed some of the roads to include; Keystone, NNPC, Sani Dingyadi, Katsina and Tsefe roads.
Others are the dualization of Sultan Ibrahim Dasuki and Agae roads among others.
The Commissioner said all government houses had been sold to civil servants, adding that the move was to make it easy for them to own houses.
