The stage is set for Sokoto State to play host as the National Under 12/15 Handball Championship 2022 kicks off today.
The developmental handball championship organised by the Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) and sponsored by the Sokoto State government, will commence in the Caliphate city of Sokoto today and end on Sunday, 4th September,2022.
Participating teams from, according to the Secretary General of HFN, Mr. Almo Umar Lambu, are gearing the up for the competition and some of them are already in their way to Sokoto.
Mr. Lambu urged the participating teams in the male and female categories to conclude their registrations as soon as possible before the commencement of the first match in the championship.
The winners of the 2022 edition of the National Under 12/15 Handball Championship in the male and female categories of the age groups will have the opportunity to represent Nigeria in selected under age international championships.
