Senator Sa’idu Dansadau is flagging off his governorship campaign in Gusau, Zamfara state capital today (Sunday).
Senator Dansadau is vying for governorship seat in the state on the platform of National Rescue Movement (NRM), a party which he helped to form and nurture, Daily Trust reports.
Preparations have started at the Gusau Air Strip which is the venue for the event.
There are campaigns’ posters everywhere especially in Gusau metropolis and campaign vehicles blaring political songs are moving around the city.
As at the time of filing this report, 1:35pm, Dansadau is yet to arrive in Gusau as his supporters in dozens of vehicles were seen moving out to receive him at Yankara along Zaria Road as he was coming back from Kaduna state from where they would all move to the venue.
