The Society of Women Accountants of Nigeria (SWAN), yesterday, inaugurated Mrs. Taiwo Adeola Ojo as the chairperson of the Abuja chapter along with 10 other new executives to run the affairs of the body for 2019-2021.
SWAN national chairperson, Felicia Aina Bamgbose, at the event in Abuja, said the journey of SWAN began in 1999 when female accountants desirous of making impact came together with a mission.
She pledged the support of the national body and advised women accountants who have not, to embrace the body.
Mrs Bamgbose, said, “My advice to fellow SWAN members is to have a plan B of investment in preparation for the time when they are out of paid job or they are forcefully disengaged, that they may have something to do in order to put food on their tables.”
The new SWAN Abuja chapter chairperson, Mrs. Taiwo Adeola Ojo, promised to build on the achievements of past chairpersons.
