About 35 youths in Kaduna State have been empowered with digital skills in order for them to be self-sustaining.
Speaking at a youth sensitization programme organised by Al-Habibiyyah Islamic Society, the Director General of the Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation, Engineer Abubakar Gambo said Nigerian youth are in a situation that requires help.
He said, entrepreneurship and skills acquisition training is a secure way for youth to be self-sustaining adding, “We at the Ahmadu Bello foundation have been doing this for years and therefore, we are happy to be associated with this gesture.”
National Chief Imam of the society, Fuad Adeyemi noted that in some of the two states the society has work; the beneficiaries have started making money which means the initiative is succeeding
The imam of the State Branch, Misbahu Raji said the 35 beneficiaries of the training were drawn from universities, polytechnics and Colleges of Education (COE) in the State.
