The Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps, aka So-Safe Corps, has arrested 37-year-old Ashade Kamoru over the theft of aluminium windows at Iyana Ifako, Alagbon, Owode in Yewa South Local Government Area of the state.
The Director of Information and Public Relations, Assistant Commander Moruf Yusuf, disclosed this in Abeokuta.
He said Kamoru was arrested by the Owode-Yewa Divisional Command operation team, led by SC Fatimoh Idris.
According to him, the suspect, a resident of Wawe House, Elekure Street, Alagbon, Owode in Yewa South Local Government Area, was reportedly caught in the alleged act of burgling a deserted building on Ifako Road.

Yusuf said “He had stolen six sliding aluminium windows, three of which were recovered on the spot.
“Ganzallo emphasised that the suspect, Ashade Kamoru, confessed to the crime during a preliminary investigation.
“Subsequently, he led the Corps officers to a place where he had hidden the remaining three sliding windows, intending to remove more later.
“The suspect and the recovered exhibits have been transferred to the Nigeria Police Force, Owode Egbado (Yewa) Police Headquarters for further investigation and potential prosecution”.
