Snake, rattle and roll: Moment three eagles battled it out over a venomous cobra

This is the dramatic moment three eagles scrapped it out to fight over an incredibly deadly snake for their dinner. One of the Tawney eagles had captured the venomous Cape cobra and was about to fly off with it when the other two got wind of the potential meal and tried to snatch it at the Kgalagadi National Park in Namibia.

They performed a series of aerobatic stunts as they ducked and dived in vain attempts to grab the snake. As the pair came closer the eagle shielded the cobra with its wings and eventually took to the skies with its lunch still intact between its talons.
