Single-term compromise

I do not make this suggestion because of President Goodluck Jonathan who, I believe, should be man enough to honour his pledge not to seek re-election in 2015. If, however, President Jonathan makes an unambiguous commitment not to seek re-election the single term provision can take off at the federal level in 2015 .This also applies to any state of the federation where its Governor voluntarily forfeits the right to seek re-election.
