The suspects, Zaharaddeen Muhammad, Nazifi Muhammad, Umar Muhammad and Isyaka Muhammad, were said to have mobilised to the house of their neighbour, Jummai Alasan, at Katai village in Wudil LGA where they allegedly stabbed her and inflicted serious injuries on her body.
They claimed that the woman had spiritual influence on one of their family members who was critically ill for a long time.
The accused pleaded guilty to conspiracy and trespass, but denied inflicting injuries and attempt to murder, and their counsel, Barrister Auwalu Shu’aibu, urged the court to admit them to bail.
