Shun corruption, be patriotic – Kumuyi urges Nigerians

The founder and General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Kumuyi yesterday in Abuja urged Nigerians to shun all forms of corruption and embrace patriotism.

He made the call during his end of month Sunday sermon titled, “Our Position and Possession through the Exalted Christ” delivered to members of the church at the Eagle Square, Abuja and members across the world.
According to him when people continue with corruption they will give account to God when they die, and finally end in hell, warning that if corruption continues to thrive it will stagnate the country’s development, and God would exclude corrupt people from the Kingdom of heaven.
He urged Christians to always see Jesus Christ as their High Priest and should emulate his sinless lifestyle and practice what he taught.
Speaking earlier, the State Overseer, Deeper Life Bible Church, FCT Pastor Joshua Esho, said that Jesus Christ remains superior because of God’s redemption plan for humanity and salvation.
He prayed for a desirable country, mercy, solution to present insecurity and transformation in the polity, and for good conduct that pleases God for positive national development.
