Shun acts of violence, Nguroje admonishes Nigerians

The Chairman, Governing Council of the Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) and former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Babangida Nguroje has enjoined all Muslim faithful in Nigeria and across the globe to use the occasion of this year’s Eid-El-Kabir to emulate the true virtues of Islam by fostering peace, unity, and love for one another.

He made the call Wednesday in Abuja in his Sallah message.

According to him, the desired development that will secure Nigerian’s future can only be achieved through a peaceful and tolerant society.

While urging Nigerians to shun all acts of violence and other vices that are inimical and anti-development, Nguroje also called on Nigerians not to be deterred by the spate of insecurity, adding that Nigeria will come out of its current challenges stronger and united.

“I urged Nigerians to invest their time in things that will better the nation’s economy, for instance, the NIPC has put forward the necessary steps to ensure that domestic and foreign investments are encouraged and supported, when necessary,” Nguroje said.
