A prestigious international event celebrating innovation and breakthroughs in various technology sectors, BOLD Awards IV, recently held its gala dinner at H-FARM’s campus near Venice, Italy to announce the winners of the 2023 awards.
Organized by Crowdsourcing Week, the event attracted individuals from 30 countries.
According to organisers, a total of over 800 submissions were received for the BOLD Awards IV, and after a rigorous evaluation process involving public voting and judging panel assessments, 120 nominees were selected from 30 categories.
These awards recognize the outstanding contributions of companies, projects, and individuals driving advancements in crowdsourcing, open innovation, and other technology fields.

The gala dinner was hosted by Epi Ludvik, CEO of BOLD Awards, and Emil Abirascid, Founder and editor-in-chief of Startupbusiness.
The event featured a captivating presentation by Stefania Quaini, MD of Angels4Women, who shed light on the gender bias in startup funding and highlighted the significance of diversity and inclusion in technological innovation.
In addition to honouring the exceptional work of individuals leveraging the crowd’s power with the expertise of judges, the evening started with a heartwarming surprise.
Epi Ludvik presented a special award to his wife, Janice Kwa, in recognition of her invaluable support and inspiration. Ludvik also shared a personal story, emphasizing the importance of appreciating one’s loved ones.
The winners of the BOLD Awards IV were determined through a combination of public voting and judging panel assessments. FundamentalVR stood out by winning an astounding three categories – Healthtech, Robotics, and Metaverse.
The event also presented an additional award, recognizing Dhana Inc. for its exceptional social impact beyond the original 30 categories.
