Sheriff shot himself in the foot

Ali Modu-Sheriff is indeed an essential ingredient in Nigerian politics. The landscape requires comedians who entertain with their ridiculous, colourful antics. However, when they become excessive, as in his case, there is a need for a stop button to be pushed. Nigerians, after all, are not fools. Even his biggest adversary, Ahmed Makarfi, isn’t exactly a better case. Their bickering, to me, exposes all that is wrong with the PDP today. The party’s members will not look inwards and cleanse, instead they will be wailing dramatically yelling wolf when there is none. We need change in the PDP, as some of us members are tired of constant embarrassment.
